Introduction

The National system of Protected Wild Areas of the State (SNASPE), he/she understands a group of units distributed in the country, their objective principals is: the protection, recreation, education and investigation. The Natural Monument Contulmo, is one of these areas that in its 82 hectares of surface, it protects and it conserves the only original sample of flora and fauna that it existed in this area, and that thanks to the CONAF action they have been conserved in the time. Here each individual completes a specific function and at the same time everything is related with everything in perfect balance and harmony.

Description:

In this beautiful place, we can appreciate like one manifests in greatness the Mother Nature through their trees, plants, insects, colors, among many others. In the one which, the authorities have worried about preserving it, to maintain it and to protect it; since many times the natural resources are excessively exploited causing irreversible damages. This solution of preserving this area like natural monument gives us the opportunity to enjoy and to appreciate with bigger attention of this monument, reason why it has been divided in 8 stations giving a description in each one of them and in way they can observe those details that many times we pass for high.
